We are currently in the process of engaging with members of the public, dozens of community leaders, and studying and documenting existing conditions of the Kalamazoo metro area's pedestrian, greenway, and transit facilities. May 2017 - This summary contains input gathered from the public during the second phase of public outreach as part of this planning effort. Phase 2 of this plans’ public outreach included an interactive mapping feature and a public meeting held on April 24, 2017 at the Kalamazoo College Fieldhouse.
Technical Memo 2: Identification of Greenways
April 2017 - The purpose of this memorandum identifies potential new greenway facilities, on-road connections between greenways and transit routes, and areas where safety improvements should be concentrated.

Technical Memo 1: Existing Conditions Report
January 2017 - The purpose of this memorandum is to define and analyze the existing transportation, demographic, land use and planning conditions in the KATS Region. The compiled and summarized data represented in this memorandum is shown in order to help inform the recommendations for non-motorized infrastructure improvements to be made in the later phases of this study.
